Front Panel Controls:

5. Setup
- Placement: Place the electronic load on a stable, flat surface with adequate ventilation around the air inlets and outlets.
- Power Connection: Connect the supplied AC power cord to the AC Input Connector (10) on the rear panel and then to a suitable AC power outlet.
- Device Under Test (DUT) Connection: Connect the positive (+) terminal of your DUT to the Load Input Terminal + (6) and the negative (-) terminal of your DUT to the Load Input Terminal - (8) using appropriate test leads. Ensure correct polarity.
- Power On: Flip the Power Switch (11) on the rear panel to the 'ON' position. The display area (1) should illuminate.
6. Operating Modes
The MUXWELL DH-801 supports four primary operating modes. Press the MODE key (2) to cycle through these options. Use the ROTARY/PUSH knob (7) to adjust parameters within each mode.

6.1 Constant Current (CC) Mode

- Press MODE until 'CR' is displayed.
- Push the ROTARY/PUSH knob to enter parameter setting.

6.4 Constant Power (CP) Mode
CP mode maintains a constant power dissipation by adjusting the current drawn inversely to the input voltage. This is useful for testing power supplies and batteries under constant power conditions.
- Press MODE until 'CP' is displayed.
- Push the ROTARY/PUSH knob to enter parameter setting.
- Rotate the knob to set the desired power value.

6.5 Short-Circuit Test Mode
The SHORT key (4) enables or disables a short-circuit test mode, allowing you to test the short-circuit protection of power sources.
