4. Safety Precautions

5. Setup and First Use

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Placement: Place the humidifier on a flat, stable, and water-resistant surface away from direct sunlight or heat sources. Ensure it is not placed directly on carpet or near electronic devices.
3. Fill Water Tank: Remove the top cover. Fill the water tank with clean, cool tap water or distilled water up to the MAX line indicated inside the tank. Do not overfill.
4. Replace Cover: Securely place the top cover back onto the humidifier.
5. Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the humidifier's power port and then into a suitable electrical outlet.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off & Mist Control

• Press the Power Button () once to turn on the humidifier. It will start in high mist mode.
• Press the Power Button again to cycle through mist levels (High, Medium, Low).
• Press and hold the Power Button for 2 seconds to turn off the humidifier.

6.2 Nightlight Function

• Press the Light Button () to turn on the 7-color cycling nightlight.
• Press the Light Button again to select a specific color.
• Press and hold the Light Button for 2 seconds to turn off the nightlight.

6.3 Timer Setting

• Press the Timer Button () to set the auto-off timer for 3H, 6H, or 9H. The humidifier will automatically turn off after the selected time.

6.4 Sleep Mode

• Press the Sleep Mode Button () to activate Sleep Mode. In this mode, the humidifier operates at its lowest noise level (28dB) and the display lights are dimmed or turned off.

7. Essential Oil Diffusion

The Homvana H103 includes an essential oil diffuser function:

1. Locate the essential oil tray on the side of the humidifier base.
2. Gently push the tray to open it.
3. Add a few drops of your preferred essential oil onto the aroma pad inside the tray.
4. Close the tray securely.
5. The aroma will diffuse with the mist during operation.

8. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is crucial for optimal performance and hygiene. The top-fill design and wide opening make cleaning simple.

1. Unplug: Always unplug the humidifier from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Empty Water: Remove the top cover and empty any remaining water from the tank.
3. Clean Tank: Use the provided cleaning brush and a soft cloth with mild detergent to clean the inside of the water tank. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
4. Clean Base: Wipe the base unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
5. Aroma Pad: Replace the essential oil aroma pad every 6 months or as needed.
6. Dry: Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembling or storing.

9. Troubleshooting

• No Mist: Ensure the humidifier is plugged in, the water tank is filled, and the top cover is correctly placed.
• Weak Mist: Check if the mist outlet is blocked. Clean the ultrasonic atomizer if necessary. Ensure the water level is adequate.
• Unusual Odor: Empty the water tank, clean it thoroughly, and refill with fresh water. If using essential oils, ensure the aroma pad is clean or replaced.
• Water Leakage: Ensure the top cover is properly sealed and the humidifier is on a flat, stable surface. Do not overfill the water tank.
