Setup

1. Battery Installation and Charging

The walkie talkies come with pre-installed rechargeable Li-ion battery packs. Before first use, fully charge all units.

  1. Connect the 6-port USB charger to a power outlet.
  2. Place each walkie talkie into an available slot on the charger. Ensure the contacts align properly.
  3. The charging indicator light on the walkie talkie will typically show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
  4. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours. The battery provides about 9 hours of frequent use and up to 48 hours of standby time.

2. Attaching Accessories

  • Earpiece: Plug the earpiece into the audio jack on the side of the walkie talkie.
  • Belt Clip: Attach the belt clip to the back of the walkie talkie for convenient carrying.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off and Volume Adjustment

  • To power on, rotate the Power/Volume Knob clockwise until you hear a click and a voice prompt.

  • Adjust the volume by rotating the Power/Volume Knob clockwise to increase and counter-clockwise to decrease.

2. Channel Selection

3. Transmitting and Receiving

  • To transmit, press and hold the Push-to-Talk (PTT) Button on the side of the walkie talkie. Speak clearly into the microphone.
  • Release the PTT button to receive messages.
  • The walkie talkies operate on FRS462 license-free frequencies and utilize 50 CTCSS tones and 105 DCS codes for interference reduction.

4. VOX (Voice-Activated Transmission) Function

The VOX function allows for hands-free communication without pressing the PTT button.

5. Flashlight Operation
