Setup
1. Installation
The feeder offers two installation methods:
- Pond-side Installation: Attach the foot supports to the base of the feeder. Use the provided nails to secure the feeder to the ground next to your pond, ensuring stability.
- Freestanding/Aquarium Installation: The feeder can also be placed freestanding on a stable surface or on top of a large aquarium (with a suitable lid) without using the foot supports and nails.
2. Power Supply
The feeder supports dual power options:
- AC Power: Connect the provided 2-meter power adapter to the feeder and plug it into a suitable outdoor power outlet.
- Battery Power: For wireless operation, install 4x AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. Battery life typically ranges from 1 to 6 months depending on usage.
3. Filling the Feeder
- Open the waterproof snap-on lid.
- Fill the food container with your desired fish feed.
- Place a desiccant packet (not included) into the designated desiccant compartment to absorb moisture and keep the food fresh.
- Close the lid securely, ensuring the safety latches are engaged.
Operating Instructions
1. Understanding the Control Panel

The control panel features an LCD screen and buttons for MODE, SET, +, and -.
- MODE Button: Used to switch between different settings and modes.
- SET Button: Used to confirm selections and save settings.
- + / - Buttons: Used to adjust values (e.g., time, portions, frequency).
2. Programming Feeding Schedules
The feeder offers two programming modes: Lazy Mode and Precise Mode.
Lazy Mode (Pre-set Schedules)

Detailed steps for setting up Lazy Mode.
Lazy Mode provides nine pre-defined feeding programs for quick setup.
- Press and hold the MODE, SET, and + buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter Lazy Mode setup.
- Use the + or - buttons to select a pre-set feeding schedule (e.g., 1d8 for 8 meals per day, 1d1 for 1 meal per day, 2d1 for 1 meal every 2 days, etc.).
- Press SET to confirm the schedule.
- The 'Vol.' (Volume) setting will flash. Use + or - to adjust the number of feed dispensations per feeding session (1-99 portions).
- Press SET to finish and save the settings.
Precise Mode (Custom Schedules)
Precise Mode allows for up to 6 customized meals per day.
- Press the MODE button twice to access the 'Timing' settings.
- Use the + or - buttons to set the desired feeding time for each meal.
- Press SET to confirm the time and move to the next meal or setting.
- Adjust the 'Vol.' (Volume) for each meal as described in Lazy Mode (1-99 portions).
- Repeat for up to 6 meals. Press SET to save all settings.
3. Adjusting Feed Portions
The feeder allows for precise portion control using the included feeding reduction clips. These clips can be inserted into the feed outlet chute to reduce the amount of food dispensed per rotation, allowing for finer adjustments between 2g and 8g per portion.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning Your Feeder
- Before cleaning, ensure the feeder is powered off and disconnected from any power source.
- Remove any remaining food from the container.
- Wipe the exterior of the feeder with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
- The food container and feed chute can be detached and rinsed with water. Ensure they are completely dry before reassembling.
- Do not submerge the main unit (with the LCD screen and buttons) in water.
2. Desiccant Replacement
