4.2 Connecting the Monitor

9. Warranty and Support

9.1 5-Year Advanced Exchange Service (Including LCD Panel and Backlight)

If a defect occurs under normal use and environment, and Dell Technical Support determines it to be a fault by 4 PM on a weekday, a replacement product (good condition) will be delivered free of charge on the next business day (Monday-Friday, excluding holidays and New Year's holidays from December 30 to January 3). Customers are responsible for exchanging the product themselves and returning the defective item to Dell.

Replacement Delivery Schedule:

  • Next Business Day Delivery: All areas of Honshu, all prefectures of Shikoku, all areas of Kyushu, Sapporo City, Okinawa Main Island (excluding some districts).
  • Two Business Days Delivery: Hokkaido outside Sapporo City.
  • Delivery after consultation: Remote islands and some other districts.

Note: If the service request is received in the afternoon, delivery to some areas may be delayed beyond the next business day. Delivery schedules may also be affected by weather and traffic conditions.

9.2 No Bright Dot Warranty (Premium Panel Guarantee)

This service provides a free replacement product if even one "bright pixel" defect is found on the LCD panel. The warranty period for this guarantee is the same as the monitor's main warranty period.

If you find what you believe to be a "bright pixel" defect, please contact Dell Technical Support for diagnosis.

What is a "Bright Pixel"? A bright pixel is a pixel that remains permanently lit on the LCD panel. If the LCD screen background is black, and a pixel is constantly lit in white, red, blue, green, purple, cyan, or yellow, it is considered a bright pixel.

Note: Pixels that are constantly black when the LCD screen background is white are considered "dark pixels" and are not covered by this warranty.
