3. Installation
3.1 Mounting the Display Unit
The Jansite 11.26-inch display unit offers flexible mounting options to suit various vehicle interiors. Choose between the self-adhesive bracket for a fixed installation or the suction mount bracket for adjustable placement.
- Select Mounting Location: Choose a location on your dashboard or windshield that does not obstruct your view of the road or interfere with vehicle controls. The unique bracket design aims to provide an unobstructed view.
- Clean Surface: Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry before attaching the bracket.
- Attach Bracket:
- For Self-adhesive Bracket: Remove the protective film and firmly press the bracket onto the chosen surface for at least 30 seconds.
- For Suction Mount Bracket: Press the suction cup firmly against the surface and engage the locking lever. Adjust the arm and angle as needed.
- Secure Display: Attach the 11.26-inch display unit to the mounted bracket. Ensure it is securely fastened to prevent movement during driving.

3.2 Power Connection
The device is powered via your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket, offering a plug-and-play installation.
- Insert the power cord into the designated power input port on the display unit.
- Plug the other end of the power cord into your vehicle's 12V-24V cigarette lighter socket.
- The unit will power on automatically when the vehicle's ignition is turned on.
3.3 Rear Camera Installation
The included 1080P AHD backup camera enhances parking safety. For optimal performance, professional installation is recommended for the rear camera wiring.
- Mount Camera: Install the rear camera at the back of your vehicle, typically above the license plate, ensuring a clear view. The camera is IP69K waterproof.
- Route Cable: Carefully route the camera cable from the rear of the vehicle to the display unit, ensuring it does not interfere with moving parts or get pinched.
- Connect to Display: Plug the camera cable into the "Rear Camera In" port on the display unit.
- Power Connection (if applicable): Connect the camera's power wire to your vehicle's reverse light circuit so it activates automatically when shifting into reverse.

4. Operation
4.1 Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
The Jansite display supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing seamless integration with your smartphone.
- Initial Pairing:
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled.
- On the Jansite screen, navigate to the CarPlay or Android Auto icon.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to pair your phone via Bluetooth. Once paired, the system will establish a Wi-Fi connection for wireless CarPlay/Android Auto.
- Requirements:
- Apple CarPlay: iPhone with iOS 6 or later, CarPlay system and voice control enabled, Siri enabled.
- Android Auto: Phone supporting 5 GHz Wi-Fi, Android 11 or higher, Android Auto app installed and updated.
- Note: Incompatible with some Huawei/Samsung models (e.g., Huawei P40Pro, Samsung S23, Note20).

4.2 Voice Control (Siri/Google Assistant)
Utilize voice commands for hands-free operation, enhancing driving safety.
- Activate Siri or Google Assistant by saying "Hey Siri" or "Hey Google," or by tapping the voice control icon on the screen.
- Issue commands for navigation, making calls, sending messages, playing music, and more.

4.3 Audio Output Modes
The device offers multiple options for audio output to your vehicle's sound system.
- Dual Bluetooth: Connect the display unit to your phone via Bluetooth, and then connect the display unit to your car stereo via Bluetooth for lossless audio.
- AUX Connection: Use the provided AUX cable to connect the display unit's AUX output to your car's AUX input.
- FM Transmitter: Select an unused FM frequency on the display unit and tune your car radio to the same frequency to transmit audio wirelessly.
- Built-in Speaker: The display unit has an integrated speaker for direct audio playback.

4.4 Mirror Link & Offline Playback
The device supports Airplay and Android Cast for screen mirroring, and offline video/music playback via a TF card.
- Mirror Link: Connect your smartphone to the display unit via Airplay (iOS) or Android Cast (Android) to mirror your phone's screen. This allows viewing online videos from platforms like YouTube and TikTok (Netflix is not supported).
- Offline Playback: Insert a TF card (up to 128GB, not included) loaded with video and music files into the TF card slot on the display unit. You can then play media directly from the card. Ensure CarPlay/Android Auto is disconnected for offline playback.

4.5 Parking Assistant
When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the 1080P rear camera automatically displays a wide-angle view with adjustable guide lines on the screen, aiding in safer and more precise parking.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the display screen. For stubborn smudges, a slightly damp, lint-free cloth can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Temperature: Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or high humidity, as this can affect performance and lifespan.
- Cable Management: Ensure all cables are securely routed and not pinched or tangled to prevent damage.
