Setup
Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the AVAPOW TJ58 jump starter. Connect the included USB-C charging cable to the jump starter's USB-C input/output port and a compatible 30W PD wall charger (not included). The 4-inch HD display will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes about 1.5 hours.

Operating Instructions
Jump Starting a Vehicle
- Connect Clamps: Plug the jumper cable clamps into the EC5 output port on the jump starter.
- Attach to Battery: Connect the red (+) clamp to the positive terminal of the vehicle battery and the black (-) clamp to the negative terminal. Ensure a secure connection.
- Check Display: The 4-inch HD display will show "READY" if the connection is correct and the battery is detected. If an error code appears (e.g., "2" for reverse polarity), disconnect and re-attach the clamps correctly.
- Start Vehicle: Once "READY" is displayed, start your vehicle within 45 seconds.
- Disconnect: After the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the clamps from the vehicle battery, then unplug them from the jump starter.
Force Start Mode (for completely dead batteries)
If the display does not show "READY" with a completely dead battery, you may need to use the Force Start mode:
- Connect the clamps to the jump starter and then to the vehicle battery as described above.
- Press and hold the "Force Start" button on the jump starter until the screen displays a specific indicator (refer to the device's screen for the exact icon).
- Start your vehicle within 45 seconds.
- Disconnect the clamps immediately after the vehicle starts.
