3. Setup Guide

3.1 Powering On the Camera

3.2 App Installation and Device Connection

The camera operates with the "Tuya" mobile application. Follow these steps to install the app and connect your camera:

1. Download the "Tuya" app from your smartphone's app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android).
2. Register or log in to your Tuya account.
3. Ensure your phone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on.
4. Open the Tuya app and tap "Add Device".
5. The app will search for nearby devices. Wait for the camera icon to appear.
6. Confirm your Wi-Fi network details (2.4GHz or 5GHz) and enter the password.
7. Wait for the device to connect.

Troubleshooting Connection: If unable to connect, hold the reset button on the camera for 5 seconds while powered on to restore factory settings. Repeat the connection process if necessary.

3.3 Mounting the Camera

The camera can be mounted on a ceiling, table, or crib. Use the provided screw accessories for secure installation. Ensure the mounting location provides a clear view and is within Wi-Fi range.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Live View and Pan-Tilt Control

Once connected, open the Tuya app to access the live video feed. You can control the camera's movement directly from the app.

• Pan: Swipe horizontally on the live view screen to rotate the camera 355°.
• Tilt: Swipe vertically on the live view screen to adjust the camera 90°.

4.2 Night Vision Modes

The camera offers both infrared and full-color night vision modes, which can be configured in the Tuya app settings.

4.3 Two-Way Audio

1. In the live view, tap the microphone icon to speak through the camera's speaker.
2. The camera's built-in microphone will capture audio from the environment.

4.4 Motion Detection and Smart Alerts

The camera can detect motion and track moving objects, sending alerts to your smartphone.

• Micro SD Card: Insert a Micro SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the TF Card Slot for local storage.

4.6 Multi-User Sharing

You can share access to your camera with family members or trusted individuals through the Tuya app. This allows multiple users to view the live feed and receive alerts.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

• Regularly wipe the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth to ensure clear image quality.
• Clean the camera body with a damp cloth if necessary. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

5.2 Resetting the Device

If you experience persistent connection issues or wish to reconfigure the camera, you can perform a factory reset:

1. Ensure the camera is powered on.
2. Locate the reset button (refer to Figure 2.1).
3. Press and hold the reset button for approximately 5 seconds until you hear a prompt or see an indicator light change.
4. The camera will restart with factory default settings. You will need to re-add it to the Tuya app.

6. Troubleshooting

• Camera not connecting to Wi-Fi:
  Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Verify the Wi-Fi password. Move the camera closer to the router. Perform a factory reset and try connecting again.
• No image or poor image quality:
  Check power connection. Ensure the lens is clean. Verify network stability. Adjust camera position for optimal lighting.
• Motion detection not working:
  Ensure motion detection is enabled in the Tuya app settings. Adjust sensitivity levels. Check the detection zone settings.
• Two-way audio issues:
  Check volume settings in the app. Ensure microphone and speaker are not obstructed. Verify network connection.
• SD card not recording:
  Ensure the SD card is inserted correctly. Check if the SD card is formatted (via app settings). Verify the SD card is not full or corrupted.
