The included smart jumper cables feature an integrated protection system to ensure safe operation. They include indicators for correct connection and a "BOOST" button for extremely low-voltage batteries.

5. Setup: Charging the Jump Starter

Before initial use, fully charge the ASPERX AX3000 jump starter. It is recommended to charge the unit every 3-6 months to maintain battery health, even when not in use.

  1. Locate the USB-C input port on the jump starter.
  2. Connect the provided USB-A to USB-C data cable to the jump starter's USB-C port.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB-A cable to a USB wall adapter (not included) or a powered USB port.
  4. The LED indicators on the jump starter will illuminate to show the charging progress. All indicators will be solid when fully charged.

6. Operating Instructions: Jump Starting a Vehicle

Ensure the jump starter is at least 50% charged before attempting to jump-start a vehicle.

  1. Prepare the Vehicle: Turn off the vehicle's ignition and all accessories (headlights, radio, air conditioning). Engage the parking brake.
  2. Connect Smart Jumper Cables:
    • Insert the blue plug of the smart jumper cables firmly into the jump starter's output port.
    • Connect the RED positive (+) clamp to the vehicle's positive (+) battery terminal.

The smart cable unit shows "correct" and "reverse" indicators, along with a "BOOST" button.

  3. Check Indicator Lights: The smart cable unit will display an indicator.
    • If the "correct" indicator is green, proceed to the next step.
    • If the "reverse" indicator is red, disconnect the clamps and re-connect them with correct polarity.
    • If no indicator lights up, ensure the clamps have a good connection to the battery terminals.
  4. Start the Vehicle: Once the green "correct" indicator is solid, start the vehicle's engine. If the vehicle does not start immediately, wait 10-15 seconds before trying again. Do not crank for more than 3 seconds per attempt.
  5. Use BOOST Function (if needed): If the vehicle battery voltage is extremely low (below 9V) and the jump starter does not automatically detect it, press and hold the "BOOST" button on the smart cable unit for 3 seconds until the green light flashes. Then, start the vehicle within 30 seconds.
  6. Disconnect: Once the vehicle starts, immediately disconnect the black negative (-) clamp first, then the red positive (+) clamp from the vehicle battery. Finally, unplug the smart jumper cables from the jump starter.
