The Insta360 X5 is a versatile 360-degree action camera designed for capturing immersive video and high-resolution photos. Upon unboxing your Insta360 X5, please verify that all components are present:

Setup

1. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the camera's battery. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the camera's charging port and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator on the camera will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 20 minutes to reach 80% capacity.

2. Inserting a MicroSD Card

The Insta360 X5 requires a MicroSD card (not included) for storing footage and photos. Ensure the card is a U3 or V30 class with a maximum capacity of 1TB for optimal performance. Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the camera, insert the card with the gold contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.

3. Powering On/Off

To power on the camera, press and hold the Power button until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the Power button until the shutdown prompt appears, then confirm.

4. Initial Pairing with Insta360 App

For full functionality and advanced controls, download the Insta360 app on your smartphone. Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your phone, then open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to your Insta360 X5. This allows for remote control, live preview, and AI-powered editing features.

8K 360 Video

InstaFrame Mode

Lens Care and Replacement

Troubleshooting

Camera Not Powering On

• Perform a hard reset by pressing and holding the Power button for 10-15 seconds.

Footage Appears Shaky or Unstable

• Ensure FlowState Stabilization is enabled in the camera settings.

MicroSD Card Errors

• Ensure the MicroSD card is properly inserted.

App Connection Issues
