4. Setup

4.1. SIM Card Installation

The SIM card is pre-installed in the card slot of your Airiton AI-3288 walkie talkie. It is ready for use upon receipt and activation. No manual installation is required for initial setup.

4.2. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the walkie talkie's battery. Connect the provided Type-C USB Charger to the charging port (Item 17 in Figure 5) on the device and plug the US plug into a power outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status.

4.3. Powering On/Off

To power on the device, rotate the Power/Volume Knob (Item 11 in Figure 5) clockwise until the screen illuminates. To power off, rotate the knob counter-clockwise until the device shuts down.

4.4. Pairing Multiple Radios

Your two walkie talkies are typically pre-set with default settings for immediate use. If you purchase more than two radios and require specific pairing or group configurations, please contact Airiton customer service with the serial numbers of your devices for technical guidance.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Basic Communication

• Push-to-Talk (PTT): Press and hold the PTT Button (Item 4 in Figure 5) on the side of the radio to transmit your voice. Release the button to listen.
• Volume Adjustment: Rotate the Power/Volume Knob (Item 11 in Figure 5) to adjust the listening volume.
• Navigation: Use the Up/Down Keys (Item 13 in Figure 5) to navigate through menus on the 2-inch LCD Display (Item 3 in Figure 5).
• Confirmation: Press the Confirm Key (Item 7 in Figure 5) to select options or confirm actions.

5.2. Call Functions

The AI-3288 supports various call modes:

• Single Call (One-on-One): Initiate a private conversation with a specific contact.
