Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two AAA alkaline batteries (not included). To install:

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
2. Insert two AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. TV Control Button Programming (Optional)

This remote control features a "TV CONTROL" section, allowing you to program specific buttons (e.g., Power, Volume) to control your television. This feature requires an existing TV remote control.

1. In the TV CONTROL section, press and hold the SET button for 3 seconds. The red LED on the remote will increase in intensity.
2. While still in the same section, press the button on the ALLIMITY remote you wish to program (e.g., V+, V-, TV IN). The red LED will then flash.
3. Position your original TV remote control directly facing the ALLIMITY remote control (ensure their infrared LEDs are aligned) at a distance of approximately 3 cm (1.2 inches).
4. On your original TV remote control, press and hold the corresponding button you wish to copy (e.g., VOL+) until the red LED on the ALLIMITY remote control remains solid. This indicates successful learning.
5. Press the SET button on the ALLIMITY remote to save the programmed function.
6. Repeat steps 2-5 for each button you wish to program in the TV CONTROL section. Program one button at a time.

Operating Instructions

To operate your DigiQuest TivuSat HD Receiver with the ALLIMITY remote control:

1. Ensure the remote has fresh batteries and a clear line of sight to your receiver.
2. Point the remote control directly at the infrared sensor on your DigiQuest receiver.
3. Press the desired button for the corresponding function. Common functions include:
   • Power: Turns the receiver on or off.
   • CH+ / CH-: Changes channels up or down.
   • VOL+ / VOL-: Adjusts the volume.
   • Mute: Mutes or unmutes the audio.
   • MENU: Accesses the receiver's main menu.
   • EXIT: Exits the current menu or screen.
   • OK / Navigation Arrows: Confirms selections and navigates through menus.
   • INFO: Displays program information.
   • EPG: Accesses the Electronic Program Guide.
   • APPS: Accesses applications (if supported by your receiver).
   • SETTINGS: Accesses receiver settings.
   • TV/R: Switches between TV and Radio modes.
   • Colored Buttons (Red, Green, Yellow, Blue): Used for specific functions within menus or interactive services, as indicated on-screen.

Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your remote control.

• Cleaning: Wipe the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical agents, as these may damage the surface or internal components.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the remote's range decreases or it becomes unresponsive. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new AAA alkaline batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Storage: Store the remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
• Avoid Impact: Do not drop the remote control or subject it to strong impacts, as this can damage internal circuitry.
