Maintenance and Care
Water Resistance (50M)
Your SOCICO Kids Watch is 50M (5 ATM) water-resistant, suitable for hand washing, swimming, rain, and sweating. However, it is important to follow these guidelines to prevent water damage:
- DO NOT pull out the crown (knob) for setting the time while the watch is submerged in water or wet. This can allow water to enter the watch case.
- Avoid exposing the watch to hot water, steam, or high temperatures (e.g., hot showers, saunas), as this can compromise the water-resistant seals.
- After exposure to chlorinated or saltwater, rinse the watch with fresh water and dry it thoroughly.

This image highlights the 50M water resistance of the watch, indicating its suitability for various water activities like swimming and hand washing. It also provides a crucial warning: never operate the crown while the watch is wet or submerged to prevent water ingress.
Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, which can damage the watch's finish or strap.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses a SR626SW battery. When the display dims or functions become erratic, it may be time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have battery replacement performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Digital Display is Blank: Check if the battery needs replacement. Ensure the watch has not been exposed to extreme temperatures or water damage.
- Analog Hands Not Moving: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If the crown is pushed in and hands still do not move, the battery may need replacement or there could be a mechanical issue.
- Buttons Not Responding: Try pressing the buttons firmly. If unresponsive, the battery may be low, or there might be an internal issue.
- Water Inside the Watch: If you notice condensation or water droplets inside the watch, stop using it immediately and seek professional repair to prevent further damage.
