Setup Instructions
1. Powering the Main Unit
- For continuous display and adjustable brightness, connect the provided power adapter to the main unit and a power outlet.
- Alternatively, for portable use, insert 3 AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment. The backlight will activate for 10 seconds with a touch to conserve energy.
2. Setting up the Remote Sensor
- Insert 2 AAA batteries (not included) into the remote sensor.
- Place the remote sensor outdoors in a shaded, dry location, away from direct sunlight and precipitation, to ensure accurate readings.
- The main unit will automatically connect to the remote sensor. If connection is not established, refer to the troubleshooting section.
3. Atomic Clock Synchronization (WWVB)
- Once powered on, the weather station will attempt to synchronize with the WWVB atomic clock signal. This may take some time.
- Ensure the unit is placed in an area with good signal reception.
- After initial synchronization, the clock will automatically adjust daily, including for Daylight Saving Time.

Operating Instructions
1. Understanding the Display
The large color display is divided into several sections, providing a quick overview of all relevant data:
- Future Forecast: Icons indicating sunny, partly sunny, cloudy, rainy, stormy, or snowy conditions.
- Outdoor Readings: Current outdoor temperature and humidity.
- Time & Week: Current time and day of the week.
- Indoor Readings: Current indoor temperature and humidity.
- Barometric Pressure: Current atmospheric pressure reading.
- Moon Phase: Graphical representation of the current moon phase.
- Date & Calendar: Current date and calendar information.
- Comfort Indicator: Indicates indoor comfort levels based on temperature and humidity.

2. Adjusting Backlight Brightness
When powered by the AC adapter, the backlight brightness can be adjusted using the dedicated buttons on the unit (refer to the specific button layout in the included user manual for exact controls).
3. Multi-Sensor Monitoring
The weather station can connect to up to three remote sensors (additional sensors sold separately). To switch between sensor channels (CH1, CH2, CH3) or view them cyclically, use the "CHANNEL" or "CH" button on the main unit.

Maintenance
- Clean the display unit and remote sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Ensure the remote sensor is protected from extreme weather conditions, although it is designed for outdoor use.
- Replace batteries in both the main unit (if using battery power) and the remote sensor when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
- Avoid placing the main unit in direct sunlight or near heat sources, as this can affect indoor temperature readings.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit | No power or dead batteries. | Ensure power adapter is securely plugged in or replace batteries. |
| Outdoor reading not displayed or inaccurate | Remote sensor out of range, dead batteries, or interference. | Move sensor closer to main unit (max 330ft/100m). Replace sensor batteries. Avoid large metal objects or electronic devices between units. |
| Atomic clock not synchronizing | Poor WWVB signal reception. | Place the main unit near a window, away from electronic interference. Allow up to 24 hours for initial sync. |
| Inaccurate weather forecast | Initial calibration period not complete. | Allow 7-10 days for the weather station to calibrate and learn local atmospheric pressure patterns. |
