4. Product Overview

4.1. Soundbar
The soundbar features left, center, right, and two up-firing channels. The up-firing channels utilize neodymium internal magnets and 18-core large voice coils for enhanced height precision and vertical sound throw, crucial for Dolby Atmos effects.

4.2. Subwoofer
A 5.25-inch wired subwoofer provides deep bass resonance, delivering impactful low frequencies without overwhelming the listening space. It connects directly to the soundbar.

4.3. Surround Speakers
Two rear surround speakers work with the soundbar's up-firing drivers to create a 360° sound field, enhancing the immersive audio experience.

5. Setup
5.1. Physical Placement
Optimal placement of your sound system components is crucial for achieving the best audio performance.
- Soundbar: Place the soundbar centrally below your TV. Ensure there are no obstructions in front of the up-firing speakers.
- Subwoofer: Position the subwoofer on the floor, ideally near the soundbar. Experiment with placement to find the best bass response for your room.
- Surround Speakers: Place the two surround speakers behind your main listening position, to the left and right. Connect them to the soundbar using the provided rear surround cable.

5.2. Connecting to Your TV
The Skywave F40 offers multiple connectivity options for your television.
5.2.1. HDMI eARC (Recommended)
For the best audio quality and full Dolby Atmos support, connect your TV using the HDMI eARC port.
- Connect one end of the provided HDMI eARC cable to the HDMI eARC port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end to the HDMI eARC/ARC port on your TV.
- Ensure your TV's audio output settings are configured for HDMI eARC/ARC.

5.2.2. Optical Connection
If your TV does not support HDMI eARC/ARC, use the optical connection.
- Connect one end of the provided optical cable to the OPTICAL port on the soundbar.
- Connect the other end to the OPTICAL OUT port on your TV.
- Ensure your TV's audio output settings are configured for Optical/PCM.

5.3. Speaker Pairing
The surround speakers and subwoofer are designed to automatically pair with the soundbar upon power-up. If pairing issues occur, refer to the troubleshooting section.
5.4. Bluetooth Connection
You can stream audio wirelessly from your mobile devices via Bluetooth 5.4.
- Press the BT button on the remote control or soundbar to switch to Bluetooth mode. The soundbar display will show "BT".
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for "ULTIMEA Skywave F40".
- Select the device to pair. Once connected, the soundbar display will show "PAIRED".

6. Operating Your Sound System
6.1. Remote Control
The included remote control provides full command over your sound system's functions.

6.3. Dolby Atmos and SurroundX Audio
The Skywave F40 leverages advanced audio technologies for a truly immersive experience.
- Dolby Atmos: Experience multidimensional audio where sounds move around and above you, creating a lifelike soundstage.
- 360° SurroundX Audio: This technology combines the rear surround speakers and up-firing Atmos drivers with intelligent spatial algorithms to precisely position audio, enhancing Dolby Atmos with a natural, three-dimensional soundstage. Note: Not compatible with DTS.

6.4. XupMix Technology
For non-Dolby Atmos content, XupMix technology analyzes standard stereo or surround sound and intelligently builds a virtual 3D soundstage, providing a spacious and immersive audio experience.

7. Maintenance

8. Troubleshooting
