Needed to Complete

To operate your Losi LMT 2.0, you will need to acquire a compatible battery and charger separately.

A battery and charger are required to complete the setup of your LMT 2.0.

Setup

Battery Installation

Ensure the vehicle is powered off before installing the battery. Connect your charged 2S-4S LiPo battery to the Spektrum Firma ESC. Secure the battery in its designated compartment to prevent movement during operation.

Transmitter Setup

The Spektrum DX3 Smart DSMR LMT 2.0 Transmitter is pre-bound to the receiver. Install 4 AA batteries into the transmitter. Power on the transmitter first, then the vehicle. Refer to the transmitter's manual for detailed calibration and adjustment procedures.

Operating Your Monster Truck

The Losi LMT 2.0 is designed for dynamic performance, including realistic monster truck maneuvers. Familiarize yourself with the controls and the Spektrum DRIVE system to maximize your experience.

Basic Operation

Use the trigger on the Spektrum DX3 transmitter for throttle control (pull for forward, push for reverse/brake) and the steering wheel for directional control. Always operate in a safe, open area free from obstacles and people.

Spektrum DRIVE System and Freestyle Mode

The integrated Spektrum DRIVE system enhances the truck's ability to perform stunts. Engage Freestyle Mode on your transmitter to execute maneuvers such as sustained wheelies, controlled stoppies, and balancing on two wheels (bicycling).

Maintenance

General Cleaning

Remove dirt, dust, and debris from the chassis, suspension, and drivetrain using a soft brush or compressed air. Avoid using water directly on electronic components.

Shock Absorbers

Periodically check the shock absorbers for leaks or damage. If oil leakage is observed, the shocks may need to be rebuilt or refilled with appropriate shock oil. Ensure O-rings are properly seated during assembly.

Chassis and Components

Inspect the 6061-T6 aluminum twin vertical plate chassis for any bends or cracks. Verify that all screws and fasteners are tight. Check the condition of the BKT tires and wheels for wear or damage.

Troubleshooting

Vehicle Not Responding / No Power

• Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly connected to the ESC.
• Check that the transmitter batteries are fresh and correctly installed.
• Verify that the transmitter is powered on before the vehicle.
• Confirm the ESC is powered on.

Leaking Shocks

• Inspect the shock caps and shafts for any visible damage.
• Check the O-rings inside the shock bodies. They may need to be replaced or re-seated.
• Refill shocks with appropriate weight shock oil as per the detailed manual.
