2. Safety Information

3. Package Contents

4. Setup (Assembly)
- Assemble the Base: Place the 22lb resin base (A) on a flat, stable surface. Insert the base pole (B) into the center opening of the base.
- Secure the Base Pole: Screw the tightening knob (D) into the side of the base pole to firmly secure it to the base.
- Insert Pole Adapters: Depending on the diameter of your umbrella pole, select the appropriate insert(s) (C, E) and place them into the top of the base pole to ensure a snug fit.
- Attach Umbrella Pole: Carefully insert the bottom section of the umbrella pole into the assembled base. Ensure it is fully seated and stable.
- Connect Umbrella Sections: Connect the upper and middle sections of the umbrella pole by aligning the locking mechanisms and securing them firmly.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Opening the Umbrella
- Ensure the umbrella is securely placed in its base.
- Locate the crank handle on the central pole.
- Turn the crank handle clockwise to extend the canopy until it is fully open. Do not force the crank once the canopy is fully extended.

5.2 Adjusting the Tilt
- Once the canopy is open, locate the push button on the central pole, just above the crank mechanism.
- Press and hold the push button.
- Gently tilt the canopy to your desired angle to block sunlight. Release the button to lock the tilt in place.

5.3 Closing and Securing the Umbrella
- If the umbrella is tilted, press the push button and return the canopy to its upright position.
- Turn the crank handle counter-clockwise to retract the canopy until it is fully closed.
- Wrap the sewn-in umbrella strap around the closed canopy and tie it securely to prevent it from unfurling in the wind.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the canopy fabric with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing or storing. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

7. Troubleshooting
- Umbrella not opening/closing smoothly: Check the crank mechanism for any obstructions or debris. Ensure the canopy fabric is not tangled. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to moving parts if necessary.
