Setup and Preparation

To operate your ARRMA Typhon 4X4 RTR Brushed Buggy, you will need the following items:

Battery Installation:

  1. Ensure the vehicle is powered off.
  2. Carefully remove the buggy body to access the battery compartment.
  3. Insert a fully charged, compatible battery into the battery tray, ensuring it fits within the maximum dimensions (165mm x 51mm x 48mm).
  4. Secure the battery using the provided straps or clips.
  5. Connect the battery to the Electronic Speed Control (ESC) using the IC3 connector.
  6. Reattach the buggy body, ensuring it is securely fastened with the clipless retention system.

Transmitter Setup:

Install 4 AA batteries into the Spektrum SLT2 transmitter. Refer to the transmitter's specific manual for detailed binding and calibration instructions if necessary.

Troubleshooting

Vehicle does not respond to transmitter.
  • Low battery in vehicle or transmitter.
  • Transmitter and receiver not bound.
  • Power switch off.
  • Charge/replace batteries.
  • Re-bind transmitter and receiver (refer to transmitter manual).

Motor not running or running weakly.
  • Motor damage or wear (brushed motor).
  • ESC not calibrated or damaged.
  • Loose motor wires.

Steering issues (e.g., no response, erratic).
