3.2 Connecting to Satellite Dish
- Ensure the satellite finder is powered off.
- Connect the LNB cable from your satellite dish to the "SATELLITE INPUT" F-type connector on the device.
- If connecting to a receiver, connect the receiver's LNB output to the "LOOP OUT" port (if available and required by your setup).
- Power on the device using the power switch.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Navigating the Menu
Use the MENU button to access the main menu. Use the arrow keys (UP, DOWN, LEFT, RIGHT) to navigate through options and the OK button to confirm selections. The EXIT button returns to the previous screen or exits the menu.
4.2 Satellite Finding
- From the main menu, select "Satellite Find".
- Choose the desired satellite from the list. If the satellite is not listed, you may need to add it or perform a blind scan.
- Adjust the satellite dish's azimuth and elevation angles while observing the signal strength and quality indicators on the screen. The device provides real-time feedback on signal strength (dBm), Bit Error Rate (BER), Modulation Error Ratio (MER), and Signal-to-Noise ratio (S/N).
- When a strong signal is detected, the "LOCK" LED on the panel will illuminate, and an audible tone will sound. Fine-tune the dish for maximum signal quality.
