2. Setup and Initial Use

2.1 Unboxing and Assembly

The VERPAL Electric Wheelchair KR8810 comes largely pre-assembled. Carefully remove the wheelchair from its packaging. No complex assembly is required. Ensure all packing materials are removed before use.

2.2 Battery Charging

  1. Locate the charging port on the battery unit.
  2. Connect the provided charger to the charging port.
  3. Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet.
  4. Charge the battery for a minimum of 4 hours for a full charge.
  5. The battery features an indicator to show the current charge level. Press the button next to the indicator lights to check the power level.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Powering On/Off

  1. To power on, insert the key into the ignition slot on the battery and turn it clockwise to the red circular symbol. A red indicator light will illuminate.
  2. To power off, turn the key counter-clockwise and remove it.

3.2 Basic Movement

The wheelchair is controlled via a joystick located on the armrest. Gently push the joystick in the desired direction of travel (forward, backward, left, right). Releasing the joystick will automatically engage the electromagnetic brakes, bringing the wheelchair to a stop.

3.3 Footrest Adjustment

Ensure the user's feet are comfortably and securely placed on the footrests during operation. The footrests can be adjusted or folded up for easier transfers or storage.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Battery Care
