4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Wipe the main unit and outdoor sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the surfaces.

4.2 Battery Replacement

  • Main Unit (Backup): Replace the 2x AAA Micro LR03 batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display.
  • Outdoor Sensor: Replace the 2x AAA Micro LR03 batteries when the low battery indicator for the sensor appears. Ensure the battery compartment is sealed tightly after replacement to maintain weather resistance.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 No Outdoor Temperature Reading

  • Ensure the outdoor sensor batteries are correctly installed and not depleted.
  • Verify the outdoor sensor is within range of the main unit (typically up to 30 meters in open air, less with obstructions).
  • Try re-synchronizing by removing batteries from both units, waiting a few minutes, then reinserting batteries into the outdoor sensor first, followed by the main unit.

5.2 Incorrect Time/Date

  • Ensure the main unit is connected to your Wi-Fi network and the Smart Life app. Time synchronization relies on this connection.
  • Check your Wi-Fi signal strength.

5.3 App Connectivity Issues

  • Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz (the device may not support 5GHz).
  • Restart your router and the weather station.
  • Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network during the pairing process.
