Setup & Assembly
Assembly is required for this sofa. It is recommended that two people perform the assembly. While some basic tools may be included, additional tools might be necessary (e.g., screwdriver). Please follow the detailed assembly instructions provided in the separate assembly guide included with your package.
General Assembly Steps:
- Unpack all components and verify against the package contents list.
- Attach the sofa legs to the main frame sections.
- Connect the individual sofa sections using the provided hardware.
- Place the seat cushions and back cushions onto the frame.
- Position the throw pillows as desired.
Important Note: Upon unboxing, you may notice slight wrinkles in the fabric. This is normal. Please allow 72 hours for the sofa to regain its full shape and comfort after assembly.

Operating Instructions
Changing Chaise Lounge Configuration:
The chaise lounge component of your HOMCOM sectional sofa is designed for flexible placement, allowing you to easily switch its position from the left to the right side of the main sofa unit, or vice versa. This adaptability helps you customize your living space to your preferences.
- Ensure the chaise lounge is not currently in use.
- Carefully lift and detach the chaise lounge section from the main sofa unit.
- Move the chaise lounge to the desired side (left or right) of the main sofa.
- Align the connecting mechanisms (if any) and securely reattach the chaise lounge to the main sofa unit. Ensure it is stable and flush with the sofa.

Maintenance & Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your sofa.
Cleaning Instructions:
- Spot Clean: For minor spills or stains, immediately spot clean with a damp cloth. Use a mild, pH-neutral soap solution if necessary, and blot gently. Avoid rubbing vigorously, as this can spread the stain or damage the fabric.
- Wipe Clean: For general cleaning, wipe the fabric with a dry cloth to remove dust and loose debris.
- Vacuum: Regularly vacuum the sofa using an upholstery attachment to remove dust and dirt from the corduroy fabric.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use harsh detergents, abrasive cleaners, or solvents, as these can damage the fabric and color.
General Care:
- Fluff Cushions: Regularly fluff and rotate seat and back cushions to maintain their shape and even out wear.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fabric fading. Position your sofa away from direct sunlight or use curtains/blinds.
- Keep Away from Heat Sources: Do not place the sofa too close to radiators, fireplaces, or other heat sources.

- Wrinkles in Fabric: If the fabric appears wrinkled upon arrival, allow 72 hours after assembly for the cushions and upholstery to expand and regain their original shape. Gentle steaming can also help.
- Squeaking Noises: Check all bolts and connections to ensure they are tightened securely. Loose hardware can cause squeaking.
- Cushions Feel Flat: Regularly fluff and rotate cushions to redistribute the filling and maintain their loft.
