4. Installation Guide
The MWT3 mini water tank is designed for straightforward installation. Follow these steps carefully:
Step 1: Prepare for Installation
- Turn off the water supply to your existing RO system.
- Relieve any pressure in the RO system by opening the RO faucet.
- Identify the outlet water line from your RO system that leads to your faucet or refrigerator.
Step 2: Connect the Mini Tank
- Using the provided tubing blade, carefully cut the outlet water line from your RO system at a suitable location. Ensure the cut is clean and straight.
- Insert the 3-way quick connect fitting into the cut water line. Push the tubing firmly into the quick connect ports until it seats securely.
- Connect one end of the provided water tubing to the remaining port of the 3-way quick connect fitting.
- Attach the other end of this tubing to the inlet of the MWT3 mini tank (the port with the blue lever). Ensure the washer is correctly seated in the connector before tightening.
- Connect another piece of water tubing from the outlet of the MWT3 mini tank back to the original water line that leads to your faucet or refrigerator.
- Place the mini tank on its base in a stable, upright position under the sink.
Step 3: Final Checks
- Slowly turn on the water supply to your RO system.
- Check all connections for leaks. Tighten any leaking connections.
- Allow the RO system to fill the mini tank and repressurize. This may take a few minutes.
