4. Installation

This flood light is designed for wall mount or soffit mount installation. Ensure power is off before proceeding.

• Screwdriver

• Caulking gun and weather-resistant sealant (for sealing mounting plate)

Installation Steps:

1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the outdoor lighting circuit and turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Mounting Surface: If replacing an existing fixture, remove it. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and flat.
3. Attach Mounting Plate: Secure the mounting plate to the junction box or desired surface using the provided screws. Ensure the plate is oriented correctly for wiring access.

4. Wire Connections: Carefully connect the flood light's wires to your household wiring:
   • Black wire (Live) to Black household wire.
   • White wire (Neutral) to White household wire.
   • Green/Yellow wire (Ground) to Green or bare copper household ground wire.
   Use wire nuts to secure connections. Ensure all connections are tight and insulated.

5. Mount Fixture: Carefully push excess wiring into the junction box and attach the flood light fixture to the mounting plate. Secure it with the provided screws.
6. Seal (Optional but Recommended): Apply weather-resistant sealant around the edges of the mounting plate to prevent water intrusion.

8. Restore Power: Turn the power back ON at the circuit breaker.

5. Smart Setup (APP Control)

To utilize the smart features, download the "Onforu" APP and connect the flood light to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

5.1 Download the Onforu APP

• Scan the QR code (if provided on packaging or product) or search for "Onforu" in your mobile device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
• Install the APP and create an account or log in.

5.2 Connect to Wi-Fi

Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. The flood light does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

1. Power Cycle: Turn the flood light ON, then OFF, then ON again quickly (within 2 seconds) to put it into pairing mode. The light should blink rapidly.
2. Add Device in APP: Open the Onforu APP, tap "+" or "Add Device".
3. Select Device Type: Choose "Lighting" or "Flood Light" from the device list.
4. Confirm Blinking: Confirm that the light is blinking rapidly in the APP.
5. Enter Wi-Fi Details: Enter your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network name and password.
6. Pairing: The APP will attempt to connect to the flood light. Once connected, the light will stop blinking and remain steadily on.
7. Rename Device: You can rename the flood light in the APP for easier identification (e.g., "Backyard Flood Light").

6. Operating Instructions

Control your Onforu Smart LED Flood Light using the Onforu APP or voice commands.

6.1 APP Control

Once connected, use the Onforu APP to access the following functions:

• On/Off: Toggle the light power.
• Brightness Adjustment: Slide the control to adjust brightness from 1% to 100%.

1. Link Account: In the Alexa or Google Home app, enable the "Onforu" skill/service and link your Onforu account.
