8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Polti Rollysteam WD20, refer to the following common solutions:
- Appliance Not Turning On:
Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into both the appliance and a working electrical outlet. Check for any tripped circuit breakers.
- No Steam or Low Steam Output:
Check if the clean water tank is filled. Ensure the appliance has reached its operating temperature (allow a few moments after powering on). Perform a Calc Cleaning cycle if steam performance has degraded over time.
- Poor Cleaning Performance:
Ensure the dirty water tank is not full. Clean the rotating brush roller and filter for any blockages. For stubborn dirt, multiple passes may be required.
- Water Leaking:
Verify that both the clean and dirty water tanks are correctly seated and their caps are securely closed. Check for any cracks or damage to the tanks.
- Self-Cleaning Cycle Not Starting/Completing:
Ensure the appliance is correctly placed on the self-cleaning base. Verify that the clean water tank has water and the dirty water tank is empty. Ensure the appliance is connected to power.
If the issue persists after attempting these solutions, please contact Polti customer support.
