- Fill the fuel tank slowly, leaving a small space (approximately 1 inch) from the top for fuel expansion. Do not overfill.
- Securely replace the fuel tank cap. Wipe up any spilled fuel immediately.

Starting the Engine
- Ensure the generator is on a level surface and all electrical loads are disconnected from the AC outlets.
- Turn the engine switch to the "ON" position.
- Move the choke lever to the "CHOKE" position (for cold starts). For a warm engine, the choke may not be necessary.
