5. Setup and Installation

These labels are designed for use with compatible thermal label printers, such as the KAYSION SK20, SK27, SK35, SK45, and SK58 series. Follow your printer's specific instructions for loading thermal label rolls.

1. Open Printer Cover: Carefully open the cover of your thermal label printer according to its manual.
2. Locate Spindle: Identify the label roll spindle or holder within the printer.
3. Load Label Roll: Place the SINMARK label roll onto the spindle, ensuring the labels feed from the bottom and the thermal-sensitive side is facing the print head. The labels should unroll smoothly.
4. Feed Labels: Pull a few labels past the print head and align them with the label guides. Ensure the labels are straight and not creased.
5. Close Cover: Close the printer cover securely.
6. Calibrate (if necessary): Some printers may require calibration after loading new labels. Refer to your printer's manual for calibration procedures.

6. Operating Instructions

Once the labels are properly loaded into your compatible thermal printer, you can proceed with printing and application.

• Storage Conditions: Store unused label rolls in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and humidity. Extreme conditions can affect the thermal coating and adhesive quality.
• Handling: Avoid touching the thermal-sensitive surface or the adhesive side of the labels unnecessarily to prevent smudges or reduced stickiness.
• Printer Maintenance: Regularly clean your thermal printer's print head as recommended by the printer manufacturer to ensure optimal print quality and prolong the life of the print head. Dust and debris can affect label printing.

If you encounter issues while using your SINMARK thermal labels, consider the following common problems and solutions:

• Poor Print Quality / Faded Prints:
  • Ensure the labels are loaded correctly with the thermal-sensitive side facing the print head.
  • Check your printer's darkness settings and adjust if necessary.

  • Verify that the labels have not been exposed to excessive heat or sunlight during storage.
• Labels Not Feeding Correctly:
  • Ensure the label roll is properly seated on the spindle and aligned with the guides.

• Labels Not Sticking:
  • Ensure the application surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or oil.
  • Verify that the labels have been stored correctly and not exposed to extreme temperatures or humidity, which can degrade the adhesive.
