4. Operating Instructions
The JANSNO X50 offers three distinct riding modes to suit your preference and terrain.
4.1 Riding Modes
- Pedal Assist Mode: The motor provides assistance as you pedal, making riding easier, especially on inclines or over long distances. The level of assistance can typically be adjusted via the display.
- Fully Electric Mode: Engage the throttle to power the bike solely by the motor, without pedaling. This mode offers a range of 50-75 miles on a full charge.
- Pedal Mode: Ride the bicycle like a traditional bike, using only pedal power. The motor is disengaged in this mode.
4.2 Speed Control
The bike has a default factory speed limit of 25 km/h (approximately 15.5 mph). If you wish to unlock the speed limit, please contact customer service for a tutorial. The maximum speed is 30 mph/h (48 km/h) when unlocked.
4.3 Gear Shifting
The bike features a 7-speed transmission system. Use the trigger shifter to change gears, adapting to different speeds and terrains. Shift to lower gears for climbing hills and higher gears for flat terrain or downhill riding.
