4. Setup

4.1 Initial Connection

  1. Connect Antenna: Screw the provided antenna into the "Antenna" port on the back panel (12). Ensure it is securely fastened and positioned for optimal signal reception.
  2. Connect Audio Output: Connect the KT900-PRO to your amplifier or sound system using the appropriate output ports (XLR or RCA, 1-5 on back panel).
  3. Connect Audio Input:
    • Bluetooth: Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled. Select Bluetooth input on the KT900-PRO. Pair with "KT900-PRO".
    • USB: Insert a USB drive into the front panel USB port (24) or connect a device via USB.
    • Optical/Coaxial: Connect an optical fiber cable to the "Digital Fibre-Optic Signal Input" (7) or a coaxial cable to the "Digital Coaxial Signal Input" (6) on the back panel. Note: Your audio output device must have a compatible optical fiber or coaxial output interface.
    • AUX RCA: Connect audio devices to "Auxiliary Signal 1 Input RCA" (9) or "Auxiliary Signal 2 Input RCA" (8) on the back panel.
  4. Connect Power: Connect the power cord to the "Power Cord" input (14) on the back panel and then to a suitable power outlet.
  5. Power On: Press the Power button on the front panel to turn on the unit.

4.2 Microphone Setup

  • The two wireless microphones are pre-paired with the KT900-PRO unit. Simply insert batteries (not included) into the microphones and power them on.
  • For wired microphones, connect them to the "Mic Input" jacks (13) on the back panel. Adjust their volume using the "Mic Input Volume" knob (11).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Audio Input Selection

Press the INPUT key (17) on the front panel to cycle through available audio sources: Bluetooth, USB, Optical, Coaxial, AUX1, AUX2.

5.2 Volume Adjustments

  • Master Music Volume: Use knob (16) to adjust the overall music volume.
  • Mic Master Volume: Use knob (14) to adjust the overall microphone volume.
  • Effect Master Volume: Use knob (15) to adjust the overall effect volume.
  • Individual Mic/Music EQ: Use knobs (1-6) to fine-tune Bass, Midrange, and Treble for microphones and music independently.

5.3 Effect Adjustments

The KT900-PRO features built-in echo and reverb effects. Adjust these using the dedicated knobs:

  • Echo Delay (8): Controls the time between echoes.
  • Echo Repeat (9): Controls the number of echo repetitions.
  • Echo Lowpass (10): Filters high frequencies from the echo.
  • Reverb Time (11): Adjusts the duration of the reverb.
  • Reverb Low Frequency (12): Adjusts the low-frequency component of the reverb.

5.4 Anti-Howling Feature (FBX)

The intelligent anti-howling feature helps prevent feedback during microphone use.

  • To activate or deactivate, press the FBX button (22) on the front panel.
  • The display (23) will indicate the status of the FBX feature.

5.5 USB/Bluetooth Playback

  • When USB or Bluetooth input is selected, use the Play/Pause (18), Previous Song (19), and Next Song (21) buttons on the front panel or the remote control to manage playback.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the unit. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
  • Storage: Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Microphone Care: Handle microphones with care. Avoid dropping them. Replace batteries as needed.
  • Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. Do not block ventilation openings.
