4.1 Turning On/Off

  • To turn the clipper ON, slide the power switch upwards.
  • To turn the clipper OFF, slide the power switch downwards.

4.2 Hair Trimming

  1. Ensure hair is clean and dry before trimming.
  2. Attach the desired comb guide. For first-time users, start with a longer comb guide to avoid cutting too much hair.
  3. Hold the clipper with the blade pointing upwards and move it against the direction of hair growth.
  4. Use smooth, even strokes. Do not force the clipper through thick hair.
  5. Regularly clear hair from the comb guide and blades during use.

4.3 Beard Trimming

  1. For beard trimming, use a shorter comb guide or trim without a guide for precise edging.
  2. Trim in the direction of hair growth for a more even cut, or against for a closer trim.
  3. Be careful around sensitive areas and facial contours.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning the Blades

  1. Turn off the clipper and disconnect it from the power source.
  2. Remove any attached comb guides.
  3. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove loose hairs from the blades and the clipper head.
  4. For a more thorough clean, the blades can be carefully detached (refer to specific instructions if provided with your model for blade removal) and rinsed under running water. Ensure blades are completely dry before reattaching or oiling.

5.2 Oiling the Blades

  1. After each use or cleaning, apply a few drops of the lubricating oil to the blades.
  2. Turn the clipper on for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly across the blades.
  3. Wipe off any excess oil with a soft cloth. Regular oiling ensures optimal cutting performance and extends blade life.
