Operating Instructions
The EBL C9042W Smart Charger is designed for user-friendly operation with clear indicators for charging status.
- Charging Indication: Each charging slot has an LED indicator. When a battery is charging, the LED will illuminate orange or red.
- Fully Charged Indication: Once a battery is fully charged, its corresponding LED indicator will turn green.
- Individual Charging: The charger supports individual charging, meaning each battery slot operates independently. This allows for flexible charging of different battery types (AA or AAA) and capacities simultaneously.
- Auto Safety Shut-off: The charger features an auto safety shut-off function that stops charging when batteries are fully charged. This prevents overcharging and potential battery damage.
- Low Voltage Battery Refresh: The charger can detect and refresh low voltage batteries, helping to extend their lifespan.

Troubleshooting
- LED Flashing Red: If an LED indicator is flashing red, it typically indicates a bad battery or a non-rechargeable battery has been inserted. Remove the battery and replace it with a known good rechargeable battery.
- No LED Indication: Ensure the charger is properly plugged into a live power outlet and the batteries are inserted with correct polarity.
- Unusual Noises: If the charger produces any unusual buzzing, sizzling, or high-pitched noises, immediately unplug it from the power source and discontinue use. Contact customer support.
- Batteries Not Charging: Verify that the batteries are Ni-MH or Ni-Cd rechargeable types. Check for proper contact between the battery terminals and charger contacts.
