5. Installation and Setup
The MixBubole FLO1200-BGS PRO is designed for installation with conventional toilets that have a bottom outlet. It can also connect to other wastewater fixtures. Ensure the pump is placed on a stable, level surface.
General Installation Steps:
- Positioning: Place the macerator pump behind the toilet or in an accessible location that allows for proper pipe connections and maintenance. The compact design allows for installation in shallow spaces, such as under basins.
- Toilet Connection: Connect the toilet's bottom outlet to the designated inlet on the macerator pump using the provided toilet connection rubber ring and appropriate clamps.
- Additional Inlets: Connect other fixtures (sink, shower, washing machine) to the available 40mm universal wastewater inlets. Use the provided plastic inlet hoses and hose clamps to secure connections. Unused inlets must be sealed with the provided plugs.
- Discharge Pipe: Connect the pump's outlet to the main sewage line. The pump supports 1", 1-1/4", and 1-1/2" discharge pipes. Ensure the discharge pipe has a minimum slope of 1/4 inch per foot (2%) for horizontal runs to prevent sediment buildup.
- Ventilation: Ensure the vent hole (carbon filter) is clear and properly installed for odor control.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the pump to a dedicated 110V-120V/60Hz grounded electrical outlet.

6. Operation
The MixBubole FLO1200-BGS PRO operates automatically once properly installed and connected to power. The pump is activated by the water level inside the unit.
- Automatic Activation: The pump will automatically turn ON when the water level inside the unit reaches approximately 3 inches.
- Automatic Deactivation: The pump will automatically turn OFF when the water level drops to approximately 2 inches.
- PCB Delay Function: The upgraded PCB (Printed Circuit Board) includes a time delay feature. This ensures the pump runs for a short period after the water level drops below the activation point, helping to clear the housing and prevent frequent short cycling, contributing to quieter and more energy-efficient operation.
