Setup
Battery Installation
The TAC AA 2.0 uses a custom 14500 Li-ion USB-C rechargeable battery (920mAh, 3.7V). It is also compatible with any standard AA battery type (alkaline or NiMH) if the rechargeable battery is unavailable.
- Unscrew the head of the flashlight counter-clockwise to open the battery compartment.
- Insert the included 14500 battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Screw the head back on clockwise until it is securely tightened.

Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the included 14500 battery. The battery features a built-in USB-C charging port.
- Connect the provided USB-C cable to the battery's charging port and a USB power source.
- The battery indicator light will show red during charging and turn green when fully charged.
Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
- Turn On/Off: Fully press the tail switch to turn the flashlight on or off.
- Mode Switching: From the ON state, lightly press the tail switch to cycle through modes: Low → Med → High → Turbo.
- Memory Function: The flashlight will memorize the last selected output mode when turned on again after 3 seconds.
Special Modes
The TAC AA 2.0 offers 6 lighting modes to match various applications:
- Mode 1: Low → Med → Turbo
- Mode 2: Low → Med → High → Turbo
- Mode 3: Low → Med → High → Turbo → Strobe
- Mode 4: Low → Med → High → Turbo → SOS
- Mode 5: Turbo → Med → Low
- Mode 6: Turbo (Direct access)

Beam Performance
The SFT-25R HI LED provides a focused beam with a long throw, ideal for outdoor and tactical use. The smooth reflector ensures a concentrated hotspot.

Maintenance
- Clean the threads and O-rings regularly to ensure smooth operation and waterproof integrity. Apply silicone grease to O-rings as needed.
- Keep the flashlight dry and clean. Avoid dropping it or using it in extremely high temperatures.
- If the flashlight is not used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
- The flashlight is rated IP68 for water and dust resistance, meaning it can be submerged up to 2 meters.

Troubleshooting
- Flashlight not turning on: Check if the battery is inserted correctly with the positive end towards the head. Ensure the battery is charged. Clean the contact points and threads.
- Light output is low or flickering: The battery might be low. Recharge or replace the battery. Ensure the head and tail cap are fully tightened.
- Water ingress: If water enters the flashlight, immediately remove the battery and dry all components. Check O-rings for damage and replace if necessary (spare O-rings are included).
