Safety Instructions

Assembly & Setup
Follow these steps to assemble and set up your fountain:

- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
- Pump Installation: Place the water pump inside the water tank at the base of the fountain. Ensure the pump's tubing is securely connected to the water outlet on the fountain panel.
- LED Lights: If the LED lights are not pre-installed, place them in their designated spots within the water basin or tank cover. Connect their wiring to the main power supply or AC adapter as instructed.
- Add Decorative Rocks: Carefully place the decorative rocks around the LED lights and pump area in the basin. Ensure they do not obstruct the pump intake or water flow.
- Fill with Water: Fill the water tank with distilled or clean tap water. Ensure the water level is sufficient to completely submerge the pump, but do not overfill. The auto-shutoff pump requires adequate water levels for proper function.
- Connect Power: Plug the AC adapter into the fountain's power input, then plug the adapter into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Initial Start-up: Turn on the power. The pump will begin circulating water, and the LED lights will illuminate. Allow a few minutes for the water to circulate and the flow to stabilize.

Operation
Once assembled and filled, operating your XBrand Waterfall Fountain is straightforward:
- Power On/Off: The fountain operates by plugging it into an electrical outlet. Unplugging it will turn it off. Consider using a timer for automated operation.
- Water Level: Regularly check the water level in the basin. Evaporation will occur, especially in dry or warm environments. Refill with distilled water to prevent mineral buildup.
- Auto-Shutoff Pump: The integrated auto-shutoff pump is designed to protect the pump from running dry. If the water level drops too low, the pump will automatically turn off. Refill the water tank to resume operation.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your fountain:
- Cleaning the Pump: Disconnect power. Remove the pump from the basin. Disassemble the pump cover and impeller. Clean any debris, mineral buildup, or algae with a soft brush and clean water. Reassemble and reinstall. This should be done monthly or as needed.
- Cleaning the Fountain: Periodically drain the water and clean the basin, glass panel, and decorative rocks. Use a soft cloth and mild soap or a fountain cleaning solution. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Water Quality: Use distilled water to minimize mineral deposits and scale buildup on the glass panel and pump. If using tap water, consider adding a non-toxic water clarifier or descaler.
- Winterization (Outdoor Use): Before freezing temperatures, drain all water from the fountain, pump, and tubing. Clean and dry all components. Store the pump indoors in a dry, frost-free location. Cover the fountain or store it indoors to protect it from harsh winter conditions.
