Setup

1. Initial Use

Upon receiving your Yoidesu Body Cam, remove it from its packaging. The camera is ready for initial use after unboxing.

2. Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in 350mAh Li-Polymer battery. Connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the camera and a power source (e.g., computer USB port or USB wall adapter). The camera can record while charging.

• Charging Time: Approximately 1-2 hours for a full charge.
• Battery Life: Up to 100 minutes in 1080P mode, 80 minutes in 2.7K mode.

3. Inserting a Memory Card

The camera requires a memory card (not included) for storing recordings. It supports a maximum of 128GB Memory Card U1.

1. Locate the memory card slot on the side of the camera.
2. Insert the memory card with the contacts facing the camera, pushing gently until it clicks into place.
3. To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.

4. Mounting the Camera

The Yoidesu Body Cam features a magnetic mounting system for versatile placement.

• Direct Magnetic Attachment: The camera can be directly attached to any iron surface.
• Magnetic Lanyard Pad: Use the included magnetic lanyard pad for chest mounting. Place the pad inside your clothing and the camera on the outside, allowing the magnets to secure it.
• Other Positions: The camera can also be clipped to a collar, tucked in a pocket, or fastened to your waist using its design.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

• Power On: Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds until the display screen illuminates.
• Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again until the display turns off.

2. Recording Video

The camera supports 2.7K (2720x1520, 15fps) and 1080P (1920x1080, 30fps) video resolutions.

• Start Recording: In video mode, press the Record button once to begin recording. A recording indicator (e.g., a red dot or flashing icon) will appear on the screen.
• Stop Recording: Press the Record button again to stop recording. The video file will be saved to the memory card.
• Loop Recording: The camera features loop recording options (1min, 3min, 5min). This setting can typically be adjusted in the camera's menu. When enabled, the camera will overwrite the oldest files when the memory card is full.

3. Taking Photos

The camera supports image resolutions up to 12M (4032x3024).

• Switch to Photo Mode: Use the Mode button to switch to photo capture mode.
• Take Photo: Press the Shutter/Record button once to take a photo.
• Continuous Shooting: The camera supports continuous shooting modes (3 Shots, 5 Shots, 10 Shots), configurable in settings.

4. Using the 1.47-inch HD Display

The integrated 1.47-inch HD display allows you to frame your shots, review recordings, and navigate camera settings.

• Live View: Provides a real-time preview of what the camera is seeing.
• Playback: Access saved videos and photos for instant review.
• Menu Navigation: Use the physical buttons to navigate through the camera's menu options for settings adjustments.

5. Adjusting the 180° Lens Angle

The camera features a 180° manually adjustable lens. This allows you to change the viewing angle without repositioning the entire camera body.

• Gently rotate the lens barrel to achieve the desired angle.
• Use the display screen to confirm your framing.

6. Connecting to a Computer

Connect the camera to a computer using the provided Type-C USB cable to transfer files or charge the device.

• Connect one end of the USB cable to the camera's Type-C port.
• Connect the other end to a USB port on your computer.

7. Using the WiFi APP

1. Download the official Yoidesu app from your smartphone's app store.

3. Connect your smartphone to the camera's WiFi network.
