Product Overview

The NEWFAST Dualband WiFi Repeater is designed to extend your existing Wi-Fi coverage, eliminating dead zones and providing a stable, high-speed internet connection throughout your home or office. It supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands for versatile connectivity.

Setup

Method 1: WPS Setup (Recommended)

  1. Plug the NEWFAST Repeater into an electrical outlet near your main router. Wait for the Power LED to turn solid.
  2. Press the WPS button on your main router.
  3. Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on the NEWFAST Repeater.
  4. The Signal LED on the repeater will blink and then turn solid, indicating a successful connection.
  5. Unplug the repeater and move it to a location between your router and the Wi-Fi dead zone. Ensure the Signal LED remains solid for optimal performance.

Method 2: Web Browser Setup

  1. Plug the NEWFAST Repeater into an electrical outlet.
  2. Connect your computer or mobile device to the repeater's default Wi-Fi network (e.g., "NEWFAST_XXXX" or "NEWFAST_XXXX_5G"). No password is required initially.
  3. Open a web browser and enter 192.168.10.1 (or repeater.net) in the address bar.
  4. Log in using the default username and password (usually "admin" for both).
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your main Wi-Fi network and enter its password. You can choose to extend both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.
  6. Once configured, the repeater will restart. Reconnect your devices to the new extended network (e.g., "YourNetworkName_EXT").

Operating

Extender Mode

In Extender Mode, the device amplifies your existing Wi-Fi signal to cover a larger area. After successful setup, your devices can connect to the extended network name.

Access Point (AP) Mode

In AP Mode, the device transforms a wired internet connection into a wireless hotspot. Connect an Ethernet cable from your router's LAN port to the repeater's LAN/WAN port. Configure AP mode via the web interface.

Router Mode

In Router Mode, the device acts as a primary router, creating a new private network. Connect the internet source (e.g., modem) to the repeater's LAN/WAN port. Configure via the web interface.
