Image: This diagram illustrates the two primary methods of attaching the FunCooler 5: direct magnetic attachment for iPhone 12 and above series, and clip-type attachment for Android phones and other devices using the included retainers.

  1. For iPhone Magnetic Series (iPhone 12 and above):
Simply align the FunCooler 5 with the magnetic area on the back of your iPhone. The strong 12N magnetic force will securely hold the cooler in place. For optimal cooling, it is recommended to use the cooler without a phone case, or with a MagSafe-compatible case.
  2. For Android/Tablet/iPad (using Removable Retainers):
If your device does not support magnetic attachment, use the provided removable retainers. Attach the retainers to the FunCooler 5. Then, extend the clips to securely grip your device. Ensure the cooling plate of the FunCooler 5 is in direct contact with the back of your device for efficient heat dissipation.

2. Power Connection

The FunCooler 5 requires external power to operate. It does not have an internal battery.

  1. Connect a USB Type-C cable (not included) to the Type-C port on the FunCooler 5.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB Type-C cable to a power source (e.g., a power bank, wall adapter, or computer USB port). Ensure the power source can provide at least 20W for optimal cooling performance.
  3. Once connected, the cooler will automatically power on, and the RGB lights will illuminate.
