5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Wipe the scale platform and display unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. Ensure the scale is dry before storage or next use.
5.2 Storage
Store the scale in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When storing, ensure no heavy objects are placed on the platform to prevent damage to the sensors.
5.3 General Care
Avoid dropping the scale or subjecting it to strong impacts. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the scale yourself, as this will void the warranty and may cause further damage.
6. Troubleshooting
- Display shows 'LO': This indicates low battery power. Replace the AAA batteries or connect the scale using the USB Type-C cable.
- Display shows 'ERR': This indicates an overload condition. The weight on the scale exceeds its maximum capacity (300kg/660lb). Immediately remove some weight from the platform to prevent damage.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the scale is placed on a hard, flat, and stable surface.
- Verify that no objects are touching the scale platform or display unit during measurement.
- Avoid using the scale in areas with strong electromagnetic interference.
- Ensure the scale is clean and free from debris.
- Scale does not turn on: Check battery installation and charge level, or try connecting via USB Type-C cable.
