2. Setup and Installation

2.1 Unboxing and Initial Placement

Carefully remove the air conditioner and all accessories from the packaging. It is recommended to allow the unit to stand upright for at least 6 hours before plugging it in to ensure optimal compressor performance. The unit is equipped with wheels and handles for easy positioning.

2.2 Exhaust Hose and Window Kit Installation

The air conditioner requires venting outside to expel waste heat and moisture. Follow these steps to install the exhaust hose and window adapter:

  1. Connect Exhaust Hose: Twist the exhaust hose connector onto one end of the flexible exhaust hose.
  2. Attach Window Kit Adapter: Connect the window kit adapter to the other end of the exhaust hose.
  3. Adjust Window Kit: Extend the adjustable window kit to the length of your window. Place the window kit securely in the window opening. If necessary, use duct tape to seal any gaps between the adapter and the window.
  4. Connect to AC Unit: Slide the hose connector into the exhaust air outlet of the air conditioner unit.
