3. Setup
3.1 First Use

3.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Ensure the iron is unplugged from the power outlet.
- Open the water tank inlet cover.
- Fill the water tank with tap water up to the 'MAX' level indicator. Do not overfill.
- Close the water tank inlet cover securely.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Powering On and Temperature Selection
- Plug the iron into a suitable power outlet.
- Use the LED display to select the appropriate fabric setting (Linen, Cotton, Wool, Silk, Synthetic). The iron will heat up quickly.

4.2 Steam Functions
- Continuous Steam: Once the desired temperature is reached, steam will be generated automatically.
- Steam Boost: Press the steam boost button for an extra burst of steam to tackle stubborn wrinkles.
- Vertical Steaming: The steam boost can also be used for vertical steaming of hanging garments.

4.3 Ironing Tips
- Always check the garment's care label for recommended ironing temperature.
- Start with lower temperature settings for delicate fabrics and gradually increase for heavier materials.
- For best results, iron garments while they are slightly damp.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning
5.1 Self-Clean Function
The iron features a self-clean function to remove mineral deposits and maintain steam performance. Refer to the specific instructions in the full manual for detailed steps on activating this feature.
5.2 Cleaning the Soleplate
To clean the stainless steel soleplate, ensure the iron is cool and unplugged. Wipe with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner if necessary. Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals.
5.3 Storage
After use, allow the iron to cool completely. Empty any remaining water from the tank. Retract the cord for compact storage. Store the iron upright in a safe, dry place.
