1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

5. Installation Instructions

Important: Professional installation is recommended. Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.

• Screwdriver (Phillips and/or Flathead)

• Ladder (if necessary)

Installation Steps:

1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture's location and turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
2. Prepare Mounting Surface: If replacing an existing fixture, carefully remove it. Ensure the junction box is securely mounted and accessible.
3. Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the provided mounting bracket to the junction box using the screws from the hardware kit. Ensure the bracket is level and firmly attached.
4. Make Electrical Connections:
   • Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
   • Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
   • Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and to the mounting bracket using a wire nut or ground screw.
   • Ensure all wire nuts are securely tightened and connections are insulated with electrical tape if desired.
5. Mount the Fixture: Carefully align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall and stable.
6. Install Bulb: Insert one E26 medium base bulb (max 60W, not included) into the socket. Do not overtighten.
7. Restore Power: Turn the power back ON at the circuit breaker.

6. Operating Instructions

The Edvivi Outdoor Wall Sconce features a built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor for automatic operation.

• Automatic On/Off: The integrated sensor detects ambient light levels. The fixture will automatically turn ON when it gets dark (dusk) and turn OFF when it becomes light (dawn).
• Sensor Placement: Ensure the sensor is not obstructed by objects, eaves, or other light sources (e.g., other bright lights, streetlights) that could interfere with its operation.
• First Use: After installation and restoring power, the light may take a few moments to calibrate or may turn on briefly before turning off if it is daytime.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: To clean the fixture, ensure power is off. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or glass.
• Bulb Replacement:
  1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker.
  2. Allow the old bulb to cool completely before touching.
  3. Carefully unscrew the old bulb from the E26 socket.
  4. Screw in a new E26 medium base bulb (max 60W).
  5. Restore power at the circuit breaker.
