5. Installation Instructions
Important: Professional installation is recommended. Ensure power is disconnected at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.
Tools Required (Not Included):
- Screwdriver (Phillips and/or Flathead)
- Wire Strippers
- Electrical Tape

- Ladder (if necessary)
Installation Steps:
- Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker controlling the light fixture's location and turn it OFF. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
- Prepare Mounting Surface: If replacing an existing fixture, carefully remove it. Ensure the junction box is securely mounted and accessible.
- Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the provided mounting bracket to the junction box using the screws from the hardware kit. Ensure the bracket is level and firmly attached.
- Make Electrical Connections:
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the ground wire (bare copper or green) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box and to the mounting bracket using a wire nut or ground screw.
- Ensure all wire nuts are securely tightened and connections are insulated with electrical tape if desired.
- Mount the Fixture: Carefully align the fixture with the mounting bracket and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall and stable.
- Install Bulb: Insert one E26 medium base bulb (max 60W, not included) into the socket. Do not overtighten.

6. Operating Instructions
The Edvivi Outdoor Wall Sconce features a built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor for automatic operation.
- Automatic On/Off: The integrated sensor detects ambient light levels. The fixture will automatically turn ON when it gets dark (dusk) and turn OFF when it becomes light (dawn).
- Sensor Placement: Ensure the sensor is not obstructed by objects, eaves, or other light sources (e.g., other bright lights, streetlights) that could interfere with its operation.
- First Use: After installation and restoring power, the light may take a few moments to calibrate or may turn on briefly before turning off if it is daytime.
