3. Package Contents

Your HOMYEDAMIC Oversized Recliner Chair is shipped in two separate boxes. It is possible that these boxes may arrive at different times. Please ensure you have received both packages before beginning assembly.

The packages contain the main chair base, backrest, armrests, and the massage pillow with its remote control. All necessary hardware and tools for assembly are included.

4. Assembly Instructions

The recliner chair requires assembly. Follow the steps below and refer to the assembly video for visual guidance.

1. Unpack all components from both boxes. Ensure all parts are present and undamaged.
2. Locate the main chair base. The armrests and accessories are typically stored underneath the chair base.
3. Attach the side panels (armrests) to the main chair base using the provided screws and tools. Ensure they are securely fastened.
4. Connect the backrest to the main chair base by aligning the metal brackets and sliding them into place. Ensure the backrest is fully engaged and locked.
5. Attach the massage pillow to the desired position (lumbar, head, or legs) using its flexible design.
6. Connect the massage pillow's power cable to the appropriate port, usually located on the side or back of the chair.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Reclining the Chair

1. To extend the footrest, locate the pull ring on the right side of the chair (near the armrest). Pull the ring to release the footrest, which will pop up automatically.
2. To recline the backrest, lean back gently while placing your elbows on the armrests. The chair will recline freely to your desired angle (up to 150°). The recline angle is not lockable and depends on your body weight.

5.2 Retracting the Footrest

To retract the footrest, you will need to use leg strength to push it back into place.

1. Sit upright and lean slightly forward.
2. Place both hands on the armrests for support.
3. Use the force of your heels to push the footrest inward and downward until it locks into its closed position.
4. Only stand up from the chair after the footrest is fully retracted.

5.3 Using the Massage Pillow

The included massage pillow offers customizable comfort.

1. Connect the massage pillow to a power source.
2. Use the remote control to select from 8 massage styles and 3 intensity levels.
3. Position the flexible pillow on your lumbar area, head, or legs for targeted massage.
4. Press the ON/OFF button on the remote to start or stop the massage function.
