  2. Assemble Lamp Arms: Insert the wires from each of the five lamp arms through the designated holes in the fan motor assembly. Secure each lamp arm with a washer and nut.
  3. Wire the Lamp Arms: Connect all black wires from the lamp arms to the blue wire from the control receiver using a wire nut. Connect all white wires from the lamp arms to the white wire from the control receiver using a wire nut. Secure connections with electrical tape.
  4. Attach Fan Blades: Place the fan blade assembly onto the motor shaft. Secure it by screwing on the cap.
  5. Assemble Mesh Cage: Connect the smaller mesh cage sections together using the provided finger-tightening bolts and nuts. Ensure the tabs are facing upwards.
  6. Attach Fan Assembly to Mesh Cage: Carefully align the holes on the fan motor assembly with the corresponding holes on the assembled mesh cage. Use the provided long bolts and nuts to secure the fan assembly to the mesh cage.
  7. Prepare Downrod: If using the shorter 4-inch downrod, remove the pre-installed ball from the 8-inch downrod and attach it to the 4-inch downrod. Feed the ground wire through the downrod.
  8. Attach Downrod to Fan: Feed the wires from the fan assembly through the chosen downrod. Loosen the set screws on the downrod receiver on the fan motor. Slide the downrod into the receiver, aligning the pin with the hole. Insert the cotter pin and tighten the set screws.
