Setup and Installation

Mounting the Intercom Unit:
Choose between the clip-type or adhesive-type mounting bracket based on your helmet type and preference.
- Clip-type Mount: Slide the clip between the helmet shell and the inner padding. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Adhesive-type Mount: Clean the helmet surface thoroughly. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive mount and firmly press it onto the desired location on the helmet. Allow sufficient time for the adhesive to cure before attaching the intercom unit.
- Slide the intercom unit onto the mounted bracket until it clicks into place.
Speaker and Microphone Installation:
Install the speakers and microphone inside your helmet.
- Attach the speakers to the helmet's ear pockets using the provided adhesive tapes. Ensure the speakers are positioned directly over your ears for optimal sound.
- Select the appropriate microphone (jet helmet or full-face helmet) and attach it to the inside of the helmet near your mouth using the adhesive tape.
- Connect the speaker and microphone cable to the earphone port on the intercom unit. Important: Ensure the speaker connector is fully inserted into the port. Improper insertion can lead to no sound or noise.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:
- Power On: Press and hold the Power/Call button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns blue.
- Power Off: Press and hold the Power/Call button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns red and then off.
Bluetooth Pairing (Smartphone):
- With the intercom off, press and hold the Power/Call button for about 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
- On your smartphone, enable Bluetooth and search for "JESIMAIK R18Lite".
- Select the device to pair. Once connected, the indicator light will flash blue slowly.
Intercom Pairing (Unit to Unit):
The R18Lite supports 2-person simultaneous talk and connection with up to 6 units.
- Ensure both intercom units are powered off.
- On both units, press and hold the Intercom button for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator lights flash red and blue alternately.
- Briefly press the Intercom button on one of the units. The units will search and connect to each other. Once connected, the indicator lights will flash blue slowly.
- For multi-unit connection (up to 6), repeat the pairing process with additional units. Note that only two units can engage in simultaneous conversation at any given time.

Phone Calls:
- Answer Call: Briefly press the Power/Call button.
- End Call: Briefly press the Power/Call button.
- Reject Call: Press and hold the Power/Call button for 2 seconds.
- Redial Last Number: Double-press the Power/Call button.
Music Playback:
- Play/Pause: Briefly press the Power/Call button.
- Next Track: Briefly press the Volume + button.
- Previous Track: Briefly press the Volume - button.
- Volume Adjustment: Press and hold Volume + or Volume - to increase or decrease volume.
- Music Sharing: While music is playing, press the Intercom button to share music with a paired rider.

FM Radio:
- Turn On/Off FM Radio: Double-press the Intercom button.
- Scan Channels: Briefly press the Volume + or Volume - button while FM radio is on.

Sound Effects:
The R18Lite offers 4 sound effects: Default, Bass, Rock, and Pop. To switch between them, press and hold the Volume + and Power/Call buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds while the unit is powered on.

Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant):
Double-press the Power/Call button to activate your smartphone's voice assistant.
Charging
Connect the USB Type-C charging cable to the intercom unit and a standard 5V1A USB power adapter (not included). Fast charging is not supported.
- Charging Indicator: Red light indicates charging.
- Fully Charged Indicator: Blue light indicates charging is complete.
- A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
- The intercom will announce the battery level when powered on. For Android users, the battery level can also be checked on the smartphone.

Maintenance
- Clean the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Ensure all ports are dry before charging.
- Store the intercom in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures.
Removing the Intercom Unit:
To remove the intercom unit from its bracket:
- Press the plastic part below the [+] button with your right hand.
- Grip the main unit with your left hand and push it in the direction of the arrow.
Caution: Incorrect removal may damage the unit's clips, which is not covered under warranty. Please handle with care.
