2. Setup

2.1 Package Contents

Before proceeding, ensure all items are present in the package:

  • 2.4 GHz Wireless Dongle
  • USB-C Charging Cable

2.2 Charging the Controller

The controller comes with a built-in 600mAh battery. For optimal performance, fully charge the controller before first use.

  1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the controller's USB-C port.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., PC, USB wall adapter).
  3. The charging indicator light on the controller will illuminate red while charging.
  4. The indicator light will turn green when the controller is fully charged (approximately 3 hours).

2.3 Connection Methods

The DuneFox controller supports three primary connection modes:

  • 2.4 GHz Wireless (Dongle): Offers stable, lag-free play with a 250 Hz polling rate. Ideal for PC and compatible devices.
    1. Insert the 2.4 GHz wireless dongle into an available USB-A port on your device.
    2. Press and hold the center button on the controller for a few seconds to power it on.
    3. The controller will automatically connect to the dongle. The indicator light will show a stable connection.
  • Bluetooth XInput: Provides convenient untethered gaming with a 125 Hz polling rate. Suitable for mobile devices and systems with Bluetooth.
    1. Ensure your device's Bluetooth is enabled.
    2. On the controller, press and hold the Bluetooth pairing button (refer to controller layout for exact location, usually a small button near the top).
    3. The indicator light will flash rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
    4. On your device, search for "FLYDIGI DuneFox" in the Bluetooth settings and select to pair.
    5. The indicator light will become stable once paired.
  • Wired Mode: Delivers ultimate responsiveness with a 500 Hz polling rate. Best for competitive gaming or when wireless is not preferred.
    1. Connect the USB-C charging cable to the controller's USB-C port.
    2. Connect the other end of the cable to an available USB port on your PC or compatible device.
    3. The controller will automatically switch to wired mode.

3. Operation

3.1 Multi-Platform Compatibility

The FLYDIGI DuneFox controller is designed to work across various platforms, including PC, Nintendo Switch, Switch2, Android, TV, and iOS. Please note that for Android and iOS, only games that natively support controller gaming mode are compatible.
