This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your keyboard.

2. What's in the Box
Verify that all items are present in the package:

3. Setup
3.1. Connectivity Modes
The TECKNET TK-GK005 keyboard supports three connection modes: USB-C Wired, 2.4GHz Wireless (via USB receiver), and Bluetooth 5.0 (up to 3 devices). Use the switch located on the side of the keyboard to select your desired mode.
- Left Position: USB Receiver Mode (2.4GHz Wireless)
- Middle Position: Off / USB Wired Mode
- Right Position: Bluetooth Mode

3.2. USB Receiver Mode (2.4GHz Wireless)
- Set the power switch to the Left position. A white blinking light indicates receiver mode.
- Plug the USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer.
- A solid white light for 3 seconds indicates a successful connection.

3.3. Bluetooth Mode
- Set the power switch to the Right position.
- To select a Bluetooth channel (BT1, BT2, or BT3), press Fn + 1 (Blue blink), Fn + 2 (Pink blink), or Fn + 3 (Yellow blink).
- Hold the selected Fn + BT key combination for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- On your device, search for Bluetooth devices and select "GK005 BT1/2/3" to pair.
- A solid light for 3 seconds indicates a successful connection.
3.4. USB Wired Mode
- Set the power switch to the Middle position (Off).
- Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard and your computer.
- The keyboard will automatically switch to wired mode. A green battery light indicates it is ready.
- Note: For Xbox S series, a USB-C cable is required for wired connection.
3.5. Charging the Keyboard
The keyboard features a built-in 6000mAh rechargeable battery. Connect the USB-C cable to the keyboard and a power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter) to charge. The battery indicator light will show charging status.

3.6. Adjustable Height Stands
The keyboard is equipped with adjustable feet on the underside, allowing you to set two different typing angles for ergonomic comfort.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Key Features
- Hot-Swappable Design: Supports all 3-pin/5-pin switches for easy customization without soldering. Includes 4 spare keycaps and a puller.
- Custom-Tuned Sky Switches: Linear switches with 40±3gf actuation force, 50±5gf bottom-out force, 2.0±0.3mm travel to actuation, and 3.8±0.3mm total travel.
- Silent Creamy Switches with 5-Layer Dampening: Provides a gentle "thock" sound, ideal for quiet environments.
- 96% Compact Layout: Saves space while retaining a full numpad (97 keys).
- RGB Backlit & Metal Frame: 16.8M RGB lighting (adjustable via FN keys) and a heavy metal frame for stability.

4.2. RGB Backlight Control
The keyboard features 16.8 million RGB lighting effects. Use the following FN key combinations to adjust the backlighting:
- Cycle Modes: Fn + [ or Fn + ]
- Brightness: Fn + ↑ (Increase) or Fn + ↓ (Decrease)
- Toggle Colors: Fn + \
- Effect Speed: Fn + ← (Decrease) or Fn + → (Increase)

4.3. System Selection
Switch between operating systems using these shortcuts:
- Windows System: Press Fn + W (hold for 3 seconds). Backlight flashes 3 times.
- macOS System: Press Fn + M (hold for 3 seconds). Backlight flashes 3 times.
4.4. Advanced Macro Customization (Windows Only)
For advanced customization, including key remapping, macro creation, and RGB color customization, download the TECKNET software from https://tecknet.com. This software is exclusive to Windows systems. Basic RGB control is available via FN keys on Mac systems.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the keyboard surface. For deeper cleaning, use a keycap puller to remove keycaps and clean underneath with compressed air or a soft brush.
- Storage: Store the keyboard in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the keyboard frequently. Charge it regularly, even if not in constant use.
6. Troubleshooting
- Keyboard not responding:
- Ensure the correct connectivity mode (USB Wired, 2.4GHz, or Bluetooth) is selected using the side switch.
- For 2.4GHz, ensure the USB receiver is properly plugged in.
- For Bluetooth, ensure the keyboard is paired correctly and within range.
- Check battery level and charge if necessary.
- Try connecting via USB-C cable to rule out wireless issues.
- RGB lights not working/incorrect:
- Adjust RGB settings using FN key combinations (Fn + [, Fn + ], Fn + ↑, Fn + ↓, Fn + \, Fn + ←, Fn + →).
- If using Windows, ensure TECKNET software is installed and configured correctly.
- Keys not registering or double-typing:
- Clean under the affected keycap.
- If the issue persists, consider replacing the switch using the provided spare switches and puller.
- Factory Reset: To perform a factory reset, press and hold Fn + ESC for 3 seconds.
