4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps for proper assembly and installation of your DWVO patio umbrella.

1. Assemble the Base Frame:
   Connect the base frame components using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened securely.
2. Fill Sandbags:
   Fill the two provided sandbags with sand (sand not included). Place the filled sandbags into the designated compartments within the base frame to provide stability. Secure the sandbag covers.
3. Insert the Main Pole:
   Carefully insert the main pole of the umbrella into the center opening of the assembled base. Tighten the securing knobs on the base to hold the pole firmly in place.
4. Attach Umbrella Canopy:
   Connect the umbrella canopy to the upper part of the main pole. Ensure all connections are secure.
5. Open the Umbrella:
   Use the crank handle to slowly open the umbrella canopy until it is fully extended.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Opening and Closing the Umbrella

The umbrella features a smooth crank handle for easy operation.

• To Open: Turn the crank handle clockwise until the canopy is fully extended.
• To Close: Turn the crank handle counter-clockwise until the canopy is fully retracted. Secure the canopy with the attached strap when closed.

5.2 Solar LED Lights Operation

The umbrella is equipped with solar-powered LED lights.

• Ensure the solar panel on top of the umbrella receives direct sunlight during the day for optimal charging.
• Locate the switch on one of the umbrella ribs (usually near the main pole). Flip the switch to turn the LED lights ON or OFF.
• The lights will automatically turn on at dusk if the switch is in the 'ON' position and sufficient charge is available.
