2. Setup Guide
2.1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Verify that the following components are present:

- USB-C to USB-C cable
- 25W Samsung Super Fast Charger
- SIM ejector tool
- Quick Start Guide (if included)

2.2. Inserting SIM Card(s) and eSIM
The Galaxy A56 5G supports Dual SIM functionality and eSIM. You can use two physical Nano-SIM cards or one physical Nano-SIM and one eSIM simultaneously.
- Locate the SIM card tray on the side of the device.
- Insert the SIM ejector tool into the small hole next to the tray and push gently until the tray pops out.
- Place your Nano-SIM card(s) into the tray with the gold contacts facing down. Ensure they are correctly seated.
- Carefully reinsert the SIM tray into the device.
- For eSIM activation, follow the on-screen prompts during initial setup or navigate to Settings > Connections > SIM card manager.

2.3. Charging the Battery
Before first use, fully charge the device battery. Use only the provided 25W Samsung Super Fast Charger and USB-C cable.
- Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port at the bottom of the phone.
- Connect the other end of the cable to the 25W power adapter.
- Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.
- The charging indicator will appear on the screen.
Note: The device supports 25W Super Fast Charging. Using a lower wattage charger may result in slower charging times.
2.4. Powering On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Side key (Power button) until the Samsung logo appears.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Side key and Volume Down button simultaneously, then tap "Power off" on the screen. Alternatively, swipe down from the top of the screen to open the Quick Panel, tap the Power icon, and select "Power off".
- To Restart: Follow the power off steps, but select "Restart".
2.5. Initial Device Setup
Upon first power-on, the device will guide you through the initial setup process. This includes:
- Language selection
- Wi-Fi network connection
- Google account sign-in
- Data transfer from an old device (using Samsung Smart Switch)

The front camera supports Super HDR for high-resolution selfie videos with optimized colors and contrast. The camera app also includes an Object Eraser tool that allows you to remove unwanted elements from your photos.
- Open the Camera app.
- Select your desired mode (Photo, Video, Portrait, Pro, etc.).
- Tap the shutter button to capture a photo or start/stop video recording.
- Use the zoom controls on the screen to adjust magnification.
