This device is designed to accurately measure and display indoor temperature and humidity, and also functions as a clock. Product Overview
The CFTGIW Digital Hygrometer features a clear LCD display for easy reading of temperature, humidity, and time. It is equipped with control buttons for mode selection, adjustment, and memory functions. The device includes a foldable stand for desktop placement and a mounting hole for wall hanging.

Setup
- Battery Installation:
Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device. Slide open the battery cover. Insert one AAA (1.5V) battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery cover securely.

- Initial Power-On:
Once the battery is installed, the device will automatically power on and display the current temperature, humidity, and time.
- Placement:
Place the hygrometer on a flat surface using its foldable stand, or mount it on a wall using the integrated hanging hole. Ensure it is placed in an area where accurate ambient temperature and humidity readings are desired, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts.
Operating Instructions

- Display Modes:
Press the MODE button to cycle through different display modes for the clock function. Typically, this will switch between 12-hour and 24-hour formats, or display date.
- Setting Time and Date:
- Press and hold the MODE button for approximately 3 seconds to enter time setting mode. The hour digits will flash.
- Use the ADJ button to adjust the hour.
- Press MODE again to move to minute setting, then use ADJ to adjust minutes.
- Continue pressing MODE to set the year, month, and day, using ADJ for each adjustment.
- Press MODE one last time to exit setting mode, or wait for 10 seconds for it to exit automatically.
- Temperature Unit Selection (°C/°F):
On the back of the device, there is a small switch or button (often labeled °C/°F) to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units. Alternatively, some models may allow switching by pressing the ADJ button while in normal display mode.
- Memory Function (MAX/MIN):
Press the MEMORY button to display the maximum temperature and humidity recorded since the last reset. Press it again to display the minimum values. Press a third time to return to current readings.
- To clear the MAX/MIN records, press and hold the MEMORY button for approximately 3 seconds while MAX or MIN values are displayed.
Maintenance
- Cleaning:
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the device in water. Avoid spraying cleaning solutions directly onto the display or sensor areas.
- Battery Replacement:
When the display becomes dim or the readings are inconsistent, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the battery installation steps in the "Setup" section. Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
- Storage:
If the device will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage and damage. Store the hygrometer in a cool, dry place, away from extreme temperatures and humidity.
Troubleshooting
- No Display or Dim Display:
- Check if the battery is installed correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace the battery with a new AAA (1.5V) battery.
- Inaccurate Readings:
- Ensure the device is not placed near heat sources (e.g., direct sunlight, heating vents) or strong drafts (e.g., open windows, air conditioners).
- Allow the device to stabilize for at least 30 minutes after initial setup or relocation to provide accurate ambient readings.
- Verify that the sensor openings are not obstructed by dust or debris.
- Buttons Not Responding:
- Remove and reinsert the battery to perform a soft reset.
- Ensure the battery has sufficient power.
