4. Setup

Follow these steps to set up your Airthereal AEH300 unit:

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the unit and all packaging materials from the box.
  2. Place the Unit: Position the unit on a flat, stable surface, ensuring there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of space around all sides for proper airflow.
  3. Install/Check Filters: The filters are typically pre-installed but may be wrapped in plastic for shipping. Open the bottom cover to access the air filter and ensure it is unwrapped and correctly seated. For the humidifier filter, open the top lid of the water tank, twist to unlock and remove the filter, remove any plastic, then insert the new filter and twist to lock.

  5. Fill the Water Tank (for Humidifier function): Open the top lid of the unit. Pour clean, cool tap water directly into the water tank. Do not exceed the maximum fill line (1.5L / 3 Pints). Close the lid securely.

  7. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

The control panel is located on the top of the unit. Use the touch controls to operate the device.

Power On/Off

  • Touch the Power button (Power icon) to turn the unit on or off.

Modes

  • Auto Mode: Touch the Auto button (Auto Mode icon) to activate. The unit will automatically adjust fan speed based on detected PM2.5 levels.
  • Sleep Mode: Touch the Sleep button (Sleep Mode icon) to enter sleep mode. The display lights will dim or turn off, and the fan will operate at its lowest, quietest setting.

Fan Speed

  • Touch the Fan Speed button (Fan Speed icon) repeatedly to cycle through 4 fan speed levels.

Timer

  • Touch the Timer button (Timer icon) to set the operating time from 1 to 24 hours. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.

Child Lock

  • Press and hold the Child Lock button (Child Lock icon) for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the child lock. When active, other buttons will not respond.

Air Quality Display

  • The digital display shows real-time PM2.5 levels. A color indicator light changes based on air quality:
    • Green: Good air quality (PM2.5 ≤ 12)
    • Orange: Medium air quality (12 < PM2.5 ≤ 35)
    • Red: Unhealthy air quality (PM2.5 > 35)

Air Filter Replacement

The air filter should be replaced periodically, typically every 6-8 months, depending on usage and air quality. The unit comes with 1 spare air filter.

  1. Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and twist the bottom cover counter-clockwise to unlock.
  3. Remove the old air filter.
  4. Insert the new air filter, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  5. Replace the bottom cover and twist clockwise to lock.
  6. Plug in the unit and reset the filter replacement indicator (if applicable, refer to the full manual for specific button combination).

Humidifier Filter Replacement

The humidifier filter should be replaced every 6 months to maintain efficient humidification and prevent mineral buildup. The unit comes with 2 spare humidifier filters.

  1. Unplug the unit and remove the top lid.
  2. Twist the humidifier filter counter-clockwise to unlock and lift it out.
  3. Discard the old filter.
  4. Insert a new humidifier filter and twist clockwise to lock it into place.
  5. Replace the top lid.
